What we were
asked to solve
The hospital needed a new operating theatre, air handling unit and backup generator to keep up with growing demand for surgery. The existing facilities could no longer cope with the patient load or the surgical work being asked of them.
All of it had to be built inside a live hospital. Infection control had to hold throughout, clinical services could not be interrupted and every HTM requirement had to be met, while specialist medical services, structure and M&E went in at the same time.
A new theatre suite, built in a working hospital, with zero disruption to patient care.

We coordinated the design, structural work and full fit out of the new theatre suite, including an advanced air handling unit and a backup generator for uninterrupted power.
Every stage was phased around the hospital's own operations, and infection control was maintained from start to finish.
