Ye Horns Inn in Goosnargh was once the centre of its community. By the time our client bought it, the pub had fallen into disrepair. The brief was to restore it, extend the dining area and improve the exterior and grounds, while keeping every original Grade II listed feature.
Working with a listed building
Listed status means every decision is made inside heritage regulations, and the finished pub still has to work as a commercial hospitality venue. That takes people who understand traditional building methods and Listed Building Consent, and who can balance conservation against how a modern pub has to run, on a fixed programme and budget.
