How do you manage work in a school, college or university that’s still in use?
Most of our education fit outs involve working in live sites, whether buildings that are partially occupied or being used by staff when students are off. We plan around all this from the start, planning access routes, working hours, dust and noise controls and safe separation between our work and occupied areas.
For larger projects we can phase the programme so different areas of your building are handed back at different stages, rather than waiting until the full project is complete. Either way, we’ll keep you informed at every stage through your single point of contact.
What happens if the project runs behind schedule and term time starts?
We always build contingency into every programme because we understand education projects have fixed, non-negotiable end dates. If unforeseen issues come up mid-project, we escalate them immediately so you’ll know early enough to make decisions.
