We are proud to have completed the stairs and balustrades package at Olympia London, one of the most significant redevelopments in the capital. The historic exhibition venue in West Kensington is being transformed into a new cultural and commercial destination, and our team has now handed over its part of the work.
A landmark London project
Olympia has hosted exhibitions and events since the 1880s. Its redevelopment brings new theatres, hotels, offices, restaurants and public spaces to the site alongside the famous Grand and National halls. In a building used by millions of visitors, stairs and balustrades have to meet the highest standards of safety and finish, and they have to sit comfortably next to heritage architecture.
What the work involved
- Stairs and balustrades built to the design and safety standards expected in a busy public venue.
- Close coordination with the main contractor and other trades on a large, live construction site.
- Careful programme management to hand over on time.
